Light & Darkness in the city-center
Photowalk Eindhoven presents Light&darkness
In this tour, we will cover various light and dark aspects of Eindhoven, both in a literal and figurative or historical sense. We will explore the theme in a few famous, and some less-known locations in or near the city center, some older and some modern. Some areas will be crowded and busy, others quiet and peaceful.
We will meet up at 12.45 in front of the Catharina-church (googlemaps-link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/bkpbmF2GouA8gTja9 ), where we have arranged an exclusive for you: you can bring a tripod inside the Catharina-church! We enter the church at 13.00 sharp. Subsequently, we can store the tripod at the location where we also end the tour, so you do not have the inconvenience of the tripod for the rest of the tour.
As usual, the price includes 2 drinks (1 during the stop halfway, and 1 at the end of the tour) Also, a donation is included to a foundation closely related to preserving and commemorating an important part of the history of Eindhoven.
A few practicalities:
- Check the weather-forecast, and as you see fit, bring a jacket, a bottle of water etc.
- The tour is approx. 2km.
- After the tour, you can also join us for dinner (at your own cost)
- Lens-recommendation: Some locations are in narrow streets or indoors. So a wide or standard lens is probably a good starting point. A short tele, ultra-wide or tilt-shift can also be very useful. Be creative!
