EARLY BIRD citywalk 22-8-2026

€22.00
Item number: EB001

In this walk right in the city-center, the focus will be on the changing city.

During this relatively compact tour (approx. 3km) you will see a wide variety of different areas, such as:

  • Newly developed areas
  • Historic buildings
  • Decaying / neglected areas
  • Future development
  • Green areas
  • Eindhoven's cultural life

You probably never expected Eindhoven's center was this varied!

The area is also where Jasper has been documenting the change and development of the city in the past 10+ years. At the start if the tour, Jasper will provide in-depth insights in his work, and into the city-development.

This walk will be full of photographic opportunities, in many different styles of photography, from impromptu street-shooting to architecture. The tour is open for any type of photographer. Your level of experience doesn't matter, and we welcome both digital, analog and phone-shooters

The social element is important, and as expected, 2 drinks are included in the price: 1 at the pause-location, and one at the end location. In the evening, you can of course join us for dinner (at own expense)

Practicalities:

  • we start at 13.00 sharp near the station, on the pedestrian area on the other side of the street at the station: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ebTkfhv9AGintXhQ9 51.441516, 5.480157 TZT FOTO VERZAMELPUNT MAILEN AAN DEELNEMERS??
  • we expect the tour will end between 17-18h
  • Lens choice: Part of this walk is in tightly built-up areas, so a wide lens or standard zoom can be convenient. On the other hand, for focusing on smaller or more distant details, e.g. a standard prime, or a short or medium tele can come in handy.
  • Bring a bottle of water
  • depending on weather, bring cap, rain-jacket, ...
  • Please do not bring a tripod.
  • If you come by car, a good spot is Parking Stadkantoor (on Wal), or Parking DLL (on Kanaalstraat); these are cheaper than Qpark, and usually not full on Saturdays.
  • If you come by bike, it can be convenient to park it near the end-location, near Keizersgracht or Emmasingel.
